Is Tusker House worth the cost? Disney World Dining

We are excited to be back doing another Disney World Dining review. There are so many great themed and character dining restaurants in Disney World it can be hard to choose which ones to go to. Today we are in the Animal Kingdom Park at Tusker House restaurant to tell you everything you need to know about this restaurant and if you should spend your time and money here.

We start the Tusker House Character Dining review looking at the atmosphere and theming. You are dining at the Harambe Marketplace and no detail is missed. From the walls to the ceilings, Disney brought in a lot of great elements to fit with the theming in the African section of Animal Kingdom. They have also divided up the restaurant well to help with noise and feel a little more intimate. Tusker House Disney World is my new favourite restaurant in Animal Kingdom because of their great theming.

This Disney World dining restaurant is in the Animal Kingdom Park in the Africa section. Coming from the main entrance it is on your way to the safari, if you have come to the safari you went too far. If you are coming from Pandora you can take the back path past the Lion King and come right to Tusker House.

The menu for our Tusker House review is focused on lunch and dinner. This used to be a buffet and has reopened as a family style restaurant but it is still all you care to enjoy. A Tusker House character dining review wouldn't be complete without mentioning all the great food. Having it family style means you don't have to worry about missing a character and it feels a lot calmer.

Disney World restaurants are not cheap and this lands right in line with other character dining restaurants. Dinner cost $55 for adults and $36 for kids and this includes an appetizer, main and dessert plus all the character fun.
